ShadyURL was like a link shortener, except instead of shortening links, it would make them look extremely suspicious. So something like cnn.com would become 5z8.info/trojan_r8r5_open.exe.
After creating more than five million hilariously suspicious URLs, the site sadly became a frequent tool for spammers and phishers. Reverse psychology, I suppose. I’ve had to shut it down temporarily, so just imagine the greatness by watching the screencap above.
